Description

• Specialty Fertilizer contains all the essential nutrients required, including nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P).
• Specialty Fertilizer is suitable for aquariums with many plants relative to the number of fish, where the plants may lack nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P), which would otherwise be supplied by fish excrement and food waste.
• Specialty Fertilizer is compounded so that N and P, in particular, are supplied to the plants in the quantities and chemical forms that the plants require for optimum uptake and growth. The fertilizer has been developed for plants that readily absorb nutrients from the water through their leaves, which are typically the low, compact foreground plants. The fertilizer also contributes to the supply of nutrition that large stem and rosette plants require.
• Specialty Fertilizer is added every week when the water is changed. We recommend 5 mL per 50 L of water. However, it is recommended that this is set according to the requirements of the plants. Specialist fertilizers contain, in addition to micronutrients, all essential macronutrients. The fertilizer is particularly suitable where plants exhibit a lack of nutrition. However, it should be noted that if algae growth begins, the fertilizer will promote this growth.
• Special fertilizers contain nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P). Dosage should therefore be adapted to the plant uptake rates in order to avoid the growth of undesirable algae. When signs of algae growth develop, reduce the water dosage by 50% and increase the frequency of water changes by 50%. Changing the water not only reduces the concentration of nutrients in the water, but also removes algae spores, debris and other accumulated elements from the aquarium water.
