TMC has launched the latest skimmer in its V² Skim range for marine aquariums. The small size of this new model is specifically aimed at nano tanks.

This high performance skimmer offers all the qualities of the award-winning V² Skim series but designed specifically with micro or nano aquariums in mind.

The space-saving ‘hang-on’ design allows the V² Skim 80 to be positioned and easily hidden at the back or side of a micro or nano aquarium up to 80 liters in volume.

It incorporates a highly efficient multi-jet Venturi injection system with 6 Venturi jets that optimize the perfect mixing of fine micro air bubbles and water and ensure intensive skimming and efficient removal of proteins and other harmful toxins (waste) from the aquarium.

The V² Skim 80 requires a water supply pump with a flow rate of approximately 800 liters per hour at 0 head (not supplied) to provide and guarantee the ideal water flow for the multi-jet Venturi injection system
