ECOTECH VORTECH MP40W ES
The ES MP40w’s award-winning technology delivers wireless operation in tanks between 50 and 500 gallons+, producing 1,000 to 3,200 gallons per hour of flow and a smaller tank footprint for reef-sized aquariums.
The Wireless Driver Wave allows wireless coordination and enhanced functionality between multiple Vortech units right out of the box, without any extra equipment to purchase, making it the most effective solution on the market for larger aquariums.
Modes Operational
The pump runs continuously at a constant speed, which can be set by the user.
EcoSmart nutrients Transport Mode (MNT) – A program two-phase to promote maximum health and nutrient export, as well as increased growth for corals. Switches between a resonant wave and a ripple effect for agitation and nutrient export.
EcoSmart Tidal Swell Mode (TSM) – Creates a harmonious balance in your aquarium reminiscent of the changing flow conditions that would be found in nature. Flow varies from left to right, right to left, calm, and ends with a big surge.
Reef Crest Random Mode – Reef Crest Random Mode simulates the high-energy conditions of a reef crest’s natural environment.
Lagunar Random Mode – Simulates the delicate zone reef found in a natural lagoon.
Short Pulse Mode – Allows pulse wave times between 0.3 and two seconds, allowing the creation of FAST alternating flow throughout the tank. Use this mode to create a resonant wave.
Long Pulse Mode – Allows for hourly pulse waves between 2 seconds and 60 seconds, allowing the creation of slow alternating flow throughout the tank.
Feed Mode – Slows down to allow the user to feed aquarium. User can choose duration and speed of feeding Mode.
Night Mode – reduces speed automatically and runs continuously at that speed for a period of time during the night. The user can choose the duration and speed of Night Mode.
When used with our battery backup accessory, the Vortech pump will switch to battery backup mode in the event of a power outage and operate at a user defined speed. The LED’s on your EcoSmart driver will count down to indicate how much power is available within the battery.
LED’s are off and show button dimmed significantly, but the pump works in its current mode. User can use program long after as before driver enters Auto-Dim.
Tap the power button to turn the pump off and on. Hold this button to turn off all pumps in a master/slave group. Tap any bomb in the ‘on/off’ groups and that bomb will turn back on.
