The Exo Terra glass terrarium is the ideal reptile or amphibian housing designed by European herpetologists. The opening front doors allow easy access for maintenance and feeding. The specially designed lock will prevent escapes and the doors can be opened separately. The fully ventilated mesh top allows UVB and infrared penetration, and is completely removable for easy access for decoration or cleaning. On the back of the mesh cover are 5 cable or tube ports on both sides for installing heating stones, waterfalls, sensors, etc. inside the terrarium. The bottom has a lip to allow easy mounting of the heating plate. The extra high front window is ideal for thick substrate layers (boring reptiles), aquatic parts (paludarium) or for setting up an Exo Terra Reptile Den. The natural background is the same colour as all other Exo Terra decorations (water fountains, waterfalls, heating stones, etc.) and provides an extra dimension for climbing.
