Description

Canine NC Neurocare™ is a highly palatable, complete veterinary diet to help support brain function and cognitive function in adult and senior dogs. Canine NC Neurocare™ is the first and only diet formulated with 6.5% MCT (medium chain triglycerides)* and contains a specific combination of neuronutrients that help support brain metabolism. Traditional ketogenic diets are used to treat children with epilepsy and are high in fat, low in protein and low in carbohydrates. Canine NC Neurocare™ has a moderate level of fat, high in protein and moderate in carbohydrates. Due to the MCT oil incorporated into this formula, the diet is metabolically ketogenic. Canine NC Neurocare™ is also highly palatable which is very beneficial for dogs requiring this diet long term.
