SEACHEM FLOURISH PHOSPHORUS

Description

It is a safe (4500 mg/L phosphate)potassium phosphate solution, which eliminates the empirical part of phosphate fertilization. Unlike competitive products that mix nitrates and phosphates in a fixed ratio, Flourish Phosphorus™ (being nitrate-free) allows you to dose phosphorus according to your plants’ needs without the risk of nitrate overdose. When used directly Flourish Phosphorus™ enhances and accelerates plant growth without promoting algae growth. For maximum results use in combination with Flourish Nitrogen™ and Flourish Potassium™.

Unlike competing products, Flourish Phosphorus™ is entirely nitrogen free, making it possible to adjust the Phosphorus level in an aquarium without affecting the nitrogen levels.

BEGINNER: Use 2.5 mL (half capful) for every 80 L (20 gallons*) once or twice weekly or if signs of phosphorus deficiency are present (e.g., slow growth, dark green and thin plants). ADVANCED: Beginner’s dosage increases phosphorus by 0.05 mg/L (0.15 mg/L phosphate). Optimal phosphate levels will vary, but are typically between 0.15–1.0 mg/L. Use MultiTest: Phosphate™ to monitor phosphate levels. For a specific increase in phosphates, dose according to the following formula: 0.8vp=m, where v= volume of the aquarium in gallons*, p=desired increase in phosphates and m=volume of the product to be used in mL. For example, to increase 20 gallons* to 0.1 mg/L phosphate you would use: 0.8*20*0.1=1.6 mL.
