Description

Flourish Potassium™ contains 50,000 mg/L of potassium suitable for natural planted aquariums. Potassium is one of many important elements vital to maintaining vigorous growth in a planted aquarium. Potassium can be added to a fast-growing system or when the water source is low in minerals. In these cases, a lack of potassium can be the limiting factor for growth. Use Flourish Potassium™ to prevent potassium deficiency (the yellowing of old leaves) and maintain optimum growth.

The easiest sources of potassium are potassium nitrate and potassium phosphate. Both of these sources bind nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, making it virtually impossible to achieve a specific NPK ratio. Flourish Potassium™ is made from potassium sulfate, allowing manual adjustment of potassium levels without affecting nitrogen or phosphorus levels.

Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 30 gallons* (125 L). This dose increases potassium by 2 mg/L. Repeat 2–3 times weekly or at signs of potassium deficiency (chlorosis (yellowing), necrosis (death/browning), and weak stems and roots.
