To verify the correct delivery forecast, the customer must be logged into the store or have provided the delivery address. Only then can the system calculate the processing and delivery time of the order. The delivery time will be displayed during the purchase process and also in the email.
Many products are available for immediate delivery from our warehouse, with shorter delivery dates of 1 to 2 days for mainland Portugal. When products are not in our warehouse, they will be requested from suppliers to fulfill existing orders and are subject to their availability. In case of stock shortages, customers will be notified. Prepaid orders will only be shipped after confirmation of the deposit.

Shipping

Shipments will be made by carrier or courier, with the cost calculated automatically based on the weight of the products purchased.

Shipping by the company is done from 9 am to 6 pm, with delivery in 1 to 2 days for mainland Portugal, provided there are no setbacks in transport. It is assumed that the order is approved by the customer or someone they trust at the destination address provided in the order or changed by the customer before shipment. This address can be the customer’s residence, workplace, etc.

We recommend that customers check the arrival status of their package and immediately report any damage so that the insurance can be activated. Failure to identify the damage will prevent the insurance from being activated.

Customers will be notified by email on the day of shipment.

Payment – The customer must choose one of the payment methods available in the store.

After placing your order, please ensure you have received a copy of the order.

We do not store credit card information. In the case of card payments, all information is managed through certified and secure electronic payment gateways.

Reservations

The images displayed may not exactly match the product, color, and size shown, providing the best possible presentation.

We are not responsible for typographical errors.

If the shipping cost selection is incorrect, you will be notified if you have already stopped paying. Otherwise, the order will be canceled due to incorrect information.

In the sale of aquatic plants, pet4you reserves the right to remove or replace plants with similar ones of the same value, as the availability of plants from suppliers may result in unpredictable delays.

All offers are limited to current stock.

Customer credits or discount vouchers are non-transferable.

Orders returned without complaint will be considered fulfilled if the customer does not pay for reshipment within 30 days of contacting us. For products sent for repair, or in cases not covered by the warranty, where repair and/or shipping payment is not made within 30 days of contacting us, we reserve the right to discard them to avoid indefinite storage.

We recommend special transport for aquariums and terrariums with a length equal to or greater than 60 cm. Customers should request a quote for this specific transport after placing the order, before payment. If no product is requested, they will remain in normal transport conditions, with the shipping risk, in this case, being borne by the customer. In case of full or partial refunds for orders paid with PayPal or credit card via PayPal, the fees charged by PayPal will not be refunded, as PayPal itself does not refund them.

Product Warranty

All our products are covered by the legal warranty against manufacturing defects. In case of warranty, the costs of returning the unit will be borne by the customer and must be returned to us. The customer must request the warranty by email, providing all information about the damage and any other requested information. To claim the warranty, it is absolutely necessary that the customer keeps the original sales documents.

Returns

The deadline for returning items is 14 days after delivery, provided that: The items are returned in their original packaging and in the same condition in which they were sold. Only the value of the product will be refunded in the form of store credit; shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Returns of spare parts are not accepted.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

For all matters not governed by these terms and conditions, Portuguese law shall apply.

In the event of a dispute regarding the interpretation or application of these terms and conditions, the competent court shall be that of Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.

These terms and conditions may be changed without prior notice; the customer should monitor them.
