Did you know that fish in tropical and subtropical regions do not feel comfortable at ambient temperatures that are comfortable for us? That is why it is very important to keep the water regulated at a constant and precise temperature.
Before engineer Eugen Jäger invented the adjustable aquarium heater, there was no really satisfactory solution for controlling the specific temperature of different species. Unorthodox systems were used, such as placing the aquariums in the sun or near heat radiators.
